On the other hand, if you think the CEO's are worth their pay, then it is a waste of time and money for a CEO to wait for a commercial flight at the airport.

I wanted to say that although my partner and do the majority of our building on Long Island in New York, we own 36 acres located in York, SC. just over the border from Charlottes airport.

But it has also experienced financial problems recently, and was really saved by Abu Dhabi.Rich, was that the most amazing airport you have been in?

Given that you have ruled out the west coast & the Northeast you should consider moving to a city w/ a an airport that has direct flights to the markets you intend to invest.  

They are building a new mall on 76, improved the mall on 78, trying to open the carlsbad airport to more traffic, and you can see the redevelopment (new hotels and apartments) in Downtown and 92056.

You'll see some near the airport and unlv that are in okay areas.

It is in a good location though (close to airport, good schools, low crime, etc.) so I am hoping we get a bit of appreciation but I am not banking on it.  

Apopka all of a sudden became more convenient to Disney and the Airport than anywhere that used I4 as access (Altamonte, Lake Mary, Longwood, etc).
