I ran it through a known property, estimate came out high.

Last time I ran into you and @Siddharth Shastri I remember hearing about a large apartment plex that you bought down in Arkansas.

The sole exception may be if you're renting to a tenant who is just so old (or otherwise culturally disconnected) that they don't use digital platforms, and getting them to do so would be more work than the benefit would be worth.In my observation, hardly anybody under 30 uses checks anymore except where the government (or their old-fashioned landlord) requires them to.

I was sympathetic to their plight around Christmas, and that they are not originally from a western culture.

A couple years ago however I have returned to Oklahoma at her capital.Now, real estate wasn’t on my radar until recently when I ran into BiggerPockets and it stuck.

I ran the calculation with a ductless minisplit air source heat pump vs an energy star oil furnace/boiler(with oil at $2.21/gallon and electric at 15 cents/kilowatt hour,) and with these assumptions, the ductless saves about 35% on heating costs.

If you genuinely feel bad then take money out of your own pocket and give it to them as charity but lets not further perpetuate the culture of entitlement that pervades much of this country. 

I ran multiple scenarios in the bigger pockets calculators before buying the property and the results were so good that I just couldn't pass on the deal.

I ran the numbers through the Buy and Hold Calc and eventually decided not to make an offer on either.
