Young prospective Real Estate investor

Hey, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I was born in Oklahoma, Tulsa to be specific, and then moved to Missouri where I grew up. A couple years ago however I have returned to Oklahoma at her capital. Now, real estate wasn’t on my radar until recently when I ran into BiggerPockets and it stuck. I love the physical aspect of real estate and how progress can be actually observed. Whether that be construction or rehab, or rental properties. You can physically see your assets. My goals are simply to become financially Independent using real estate. I’m still researching which niche I want to focus on so my involvement in real estate thus far has mostly been educating myself and I’m getting more excited by the day. I hope to get involved in the BiggerPockets community and any fellow Oklahoma City investors. If anyone wants to say hi right back or has any advice or comments whether it be for investing in my area or just how to get started or who I should try and get in touch with please feel free! -Joshua Black

@Josh Black hello and welcome to BiggerPockets!  You are definitely on the right site if you wish to network with other investors, learn new techniques and strategies, and get a sense of direction in real estate investing.

In my years perfecting and sourcing undervalued real estate for immediate resale, I have discovered that sending out blind offers to owners has garnered me the most success.  By sending out blind offers to owners, you'll get more interested sellers contacting you (not the other way around), and you'll get more deals done.
