I am back in the game but I no longer have a mentor or a Brother in law for that matter. 

I can only speak for myself...since i bought my first place with zero down using a usda loan...i acquired the property and put my friend/brother in it to help house hack....I'd recommend doing this first...let the property build equity...then utilize HELOC to get into the flip game.

Hello All,I have a little brother in Merritt Island that is looking to purchase his first property.

This guy is like a brother and I trust him like one.

My roommate pays $600 and I am letting my brother stay with me at a discounted rate of $150 (he's buried in college debt) So I am breaking even every month instead of making a profit, but it has been sweet not paying rent/mortgage.
