I drove by to look at it today and there was a sign from the parish (this in Louisiana) that said “property will be sold for unpaid taxes on June 6, 2018”Can someone explain to me what’s going on here?

I think it's their way of saying that they won't be working with a bank or doing inspections, it has to be a simple transaction. 

This one is going to vape/smoke/burn candles in your unit/property anyway.This is why you send a copy of the application and tenant criteria prior to doing background searches, let alone signing lease agreements.

He said signing a contract wasn't necessary, but did give us a cost estimate after reviewing a set of house plans.

Hey @Jessica Brewster , Try purchasing a list of absentee property owners.Also, call the bandit signs (aka We Buy Houses on the side of the road), they all have wholesale deals

Also maybe offer $100 signing bonus to incentive someone since it's not exactly done yet.

I ended up winning, by increasing my offer to 152k but had to sign the addendum saying if it didn’t appraise I would have to bring the cash difference.
