Rental market in NYC moves pretty quickly and will be hard to coordinate from out of state, unless they're ok with their broker doing virtual face-time tours. 

I have decided after the trip that I plan on moving to Austin TX. 

Then the idea would be for us to move there in 3-5 years into that property.
