I'm on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe and the permitting is much easier here, Reno also has good properties for STRs.

Most owners of short-term rentals on the islands and the nearby areas have been dealing with the triple whammy of a slowing economy effecting rental revenue this year, higher insurances and higher property taxes.

I am considering putting my personal residence condo up for sale and am curious how the recent agent commission change in process impacts sellers in for sale by owners.
