I'm right at the beginning of my journey in REI!

I'm impressed by the professionalism of the community as well as the depth of information and contacts available. 

I had a quick question for those of you that use a professional property manager. 

These lenders will usually have a place of business that you can go to, have a website of some kind, have a professional email account that's not gmail, have a license or professional credentials of some kind, or have done verifiable loans to someone else I know.

I'm not going to go into that story because it's the same for most people.ANYWAY I decided to get into the industry as a professional and learn my way into things and get paid for it.

I have been researching (listening to a TON of BP podcasts, reading the forums, audio books, etc) and learning over the past couple months and have decided it is time to take action and begin my journey real estate investing.

How did you determined that " ... it does not need a lot of repairs (around 2k to 3k)" .. was this from a professional appraisal, and or a contractor? 

I would like to connect with liked minded real estate investors/agents/professionals in the Philadelphia market.

I want to meet like minded people that are also in the journey.
