Personally no, but it's just something I don't like to deal with. 

Since I'll be living in one of the units, my personal preference is to find something on the newer side, which would likely mean higher rent/unit but I'm worried the higher price point would limit the tenant pool. 

There are lawyers and lenders involved.

I’m just not sure of the headache or risk that is involved in this process of holding the note, etc.

I would stay personally liable for the mortgage. 

If so, that is the easiest-just say you had a number of applicants and you've rented it to another person. 

Should still have about $175k in capital on hand after adding what we will personally save from our budget during this time frame also. 

So S8 not longer fits my strategy personally.  

I do not have any LLC, was thinking to close in my personal name.

But would love to chat and connect and build a team of amazing people who are dedicated to growing not only professionally but personally as well.
