Im just still kind of getting my feet wet.

I kind of want to just get a 20 - 40 unit apartment complex to get my feet wet, and work my way up....but I also want to be smart in this as I forsee myself doing this basically the rest of my life.Thanks for the input, I'm definitely going to be responding to all posters!

Once I’ve gotten my feet wet I would either look to acquire additional small/medium size multi families, or apartment buildings.

Hoping to get my feet wet since I'll have more down time with the transition up there. 

I am essentially at the same point as you and think it might be beneficial to stay in touch as we both begin getting our feet wet.  

I have done a lot more research and read numerous books on the topic of buy and hold real estate investing and I am looking forward to learning a lot more from people on this site and further my education any way I can and I am excited to starting a business in real estate investing.
