It’s proximity to an international airport and D.C, the proposed big data center for Amazon, and the new silver line metro are all pointing in that direction.

Austin is cool but it's not a major international hub.

Use that time to intern with an established investment company in your area and learn the ropes.  

There are downsides to a cloud based brokerage, you won't have designated training time, your communication with broker and support staff will be electronic rather than face to face, and while all the training you could consume is there, you've got to be motivated to do so.

Handled internally this could have been accomplished in a few minutes. 

I've lived in Philly 10 years and have been trying to shift my internal sports allegiances from DC metro teams.

I know the HOA sends several warnings and then has an internal hearing where grievances can be made prior to any lawyers involvement.

In two solid years of doing this, our biggest problems have been: an international guest who ignored our no smoking policy (and we easily got them to pay us an additional $200 cleaning fee after filing a complaint with Airbnb); older guests who can't figure out how to use our nespresso; and some broken plates and glasses.

@Byron Bailey I would look to intern with a real estate law firm and put your law degree into action.
