HD charges $690, he is charging more.i gutted 8x6 bathroom and to hang drywall and mud, he is asking $1200. that's nuts.and he has already gotten so much business from him that i was expecting a better price.80% of the contractors either do not come to the appointment, do not bid on the job or do not get back to me on time. but then they complain about the economy and how they are not making money. after they finish complaining, they tell me that they are taking a vacation for the next few days, so my quote will come next week.unreal....

I assume that means shared kitchen, living, and bathrooms, since even a hotel room with a kitchen would qualify for the efficiency or studio label.

Goes like this…We have one long building approx 3300 sq ft. with a couple of waiting rooms, ex doctor offices, remember, a nurses station, a coffee break room, several bathrooms, including a handicap one, a large phone and file room, and about 5 or 6 nice office spaces and about a dozen of what were once examination rooms, about 150 sq. ft. ea.

There was mildew in bathroom ceiling, dust webs in all corners, laminate floor was filthy, dog food caked on side of washer dryer, dirty window seals, things left in the cupords etc.. ie Was not move in ready.55 nails holes left in the wall.

I put simple off-white faux marble ceramic tiles in parts of our rental condo (bathrooms and high-traffic areas) and am very happy with the results.
