Sheena I get you are in Singapore but you can at least pay a non-biased third party for a full report to see what you are getting.A couple hundred from a local broker who specializes in these properties would be WELL WORTH not making a 101,000 mistake.

Unfortunately we’ve tightened up our guidelines so much that it’s more common than not the agent has a buyer wanting to do a lease purchase and the buyer is not qualified to even do a lease purchase but the agent doesn’t know that yet because the agent may not know the mortgage guidelines or have seen a credit report from the buyer.
