I’m a an investor in Sacramento as well and attended my first meetup last week.

Attend everyone gaining various perspectives.

I would like to go and attend a meet-up so that I can hear everyones stories and gauge the market.

We have a son that will be attending there and we believe it would be smarter to purchase an SFH that we can House Hack or Multi-Family (which could house hack too).

I've attended two community meetings and its great that they listen to us and are willing to adjust the codes to help us homeowners. 

We are planning to attend a GaREIA and some other local groups so we'll be showing our faces in the next few months.

Attend as many REIA (Real Estate Investment Association) meetings in your area as you can.
