I understand the seller/listing agent wanting to avoid tire kickers but I think if they aren't willing to at least give some pertinent information up front (fine with an NDA) then it's likely not worth it.

If they aren't interested in selling, knock on the next door down or where the mentioned a neighbor may be thinking about selling.Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.Tip..... if someone has a sign in the yard for a car,or boat, or yard sale, etc., start a conversation about that sign first.Hope that helps.Derek Dombeck

I understand that we have our own risk tolerances, but it seems impossible for us to invest in rental properties that generate supplemental income because of a low-risk tolerance.Perhaps it's a big picture discussion and there will need to be compromises from both sides but I wanted to see if anyone else has had to educate/convince their spouse of the benefits of rental properties.Thanks for your insight.
