How much rehab do you do on your own vs. contract out?
18 November 2015 | 92 replies
Hiring people to do the work was and still is NOT possible. like the other person said, you also get a real idea of how long something should take. and before the internet, all i knew how to do was install car stereos, amplifiers and carpentry. i've learned ALL my other trades on the net. drywall, tiling, laminate flooring, plumbing, light electrical, etc. hell i even installed a second sump pump on my moms house because it would flood the basement on most rains. contractors price to do it $5500. i did it in 2 days for $347..... but to get to your main question.

Water damage to a Verizon box, who is responsible?
14 January 2015 | 6 replies
Got that fixed last night, but the tenant tells me the water leaked into some kind of box that Verizon put on the wall in the basement and that the Internet no longer works. Now, in my ideal world, Verizon fixes this for free (riiiiight). The tenant is the one who setup Internet through Verizon (not a problem but not standard, I'd guess Comcast supplies 90%+ of the residential Internet around here), and I'm pretty sure this box was installed after the tenant moved in.So my question is, who is responsible for this?
