Most that do out of state,thouugh, live in California, as I see you do.With 100K and high income, I'd look real hard at being willing to be more involved for a few years and possibly buying a small apartment building.

No, it won't be on there if you're the buyer (in CA, anyway).Of course, if you have MLS access, you can figure out how much your agent got (and typically you can assume the listing agent did not get more than this, if an REO or corporate flip usually significantly less).

These factors all work to drive price way, way, down.. especially in areas particularly susceptible to boom/bust cycles (see CA,NV,AZ,FL).The majority of the problem in this "mini-boom" is again supply, except this time it is the artificially LOW supply of homes.
