I am looking to understand what people are searching for, where they are going/planning to go and what locations are trending.I am familiar with and using Google Trends to look at search traffic for different locations and have created a list of a few places in Florida and South Carolina (beach towns).Is there any other sources, subscriptions, etc. that vacation rental property owners use to identify areas of interest?

So I would advise that you learn a bit about better tenant screening; in PA, the state now has free internet searches for lots of important things pertaining to tenant screening, including criminal court records, landlord tenant magistrate records, and even traffic driving offense court records (useful for the tenant that drives for the first job or is Uber or Lyft driver on the side).

If they are not a guarantor we politely tell them we cannot discuss the lease with them as they are not our tenant.Looking out longer term, thing are a little more fluid.1) We have several student houses/units turning over this summer - normally we have all of these relet prior to students leaving for the summer, but traffic is understandably way down.

And I offer this idea, due to the Treasure Valley is now in permanent grid-lock with too much traffic, at rush hours, & which makes it difficult for people to get home, after getting off of work, even for who lives near to their employers.

With the sliding glass door and the kitchen that narrow walkway is going to have a lot of traffic and I think the renter would need to have a tiny table for 2 to make it work.
