It's legal in a few states now, its on the ballot in CA this year, and if it passes, the rest of the states will start to fall too.I'd be more concerned about a pit bull than weed, and I've never used it.

My husband has a paint crew so we would save there but we would have to spend money on the rest of the remodel out of pocket.   

In my market a home one street over may be worth $300k and the next street the same home because its a busy street or there is on street parking or the rest of the homes are not as nice will be only worth $200k.

I think most people have hit on some good options but I think (on a macro level) you have to look at the rest of the house.  

Some of this just has to do with the fit/finish of the rest of the property.  

Regarding "(1) a buyer who can't qualify for financing," obviously you should simply accept the offer that comes in with my preapproval letter attached and throw the rest in the garbage.

Those who argue with me about it, pay 1 month on move-in, the rest after, I always had payment problems.
