I know it's atypical and extreme but here in NYC, plans are only accepted if prepared by licensed architects,  and permits are only issued to licensed contractors after proof of insurance and worker's comp compliance.

Tomorrow if everything goes smooth and I don't have to take to big of a hit (I'm prepared to take a 2-3k hit) the only debt I will have is 2 mortgages, and one of those mortgages I rent out and make $370 cash flow a month off of it…Time to start building this empire and leave the fancy smancy crap alone…Should have never bought that truck….We live and learn!

You may need to ask detailed questions to get the full answers but it could become difficult to walk you through this in a forum like this.Before we prepare a purchase agreement for the land we do a little investigative work to see if the land is suitable for our needs

I learned the lesson that night that a large part of self defense is simply being aware of your surroundings and passed that on to many students over the years.I agree with that 100% and I would also add that a big part of self-defense is being prepared.
