Comparing the two, center/east is characterized by homes in disrepair, overgrown yards, etc.If I were to drop you blindfolded into 02301 and tell you that you were in Canton, you would be impressed at how nice Canton is.I feel your pain regarding the Braintree split.

Once the house was purchased and he dug in , we found he missed a few items on his assessment and it went up to 50K. then he decided he under bid, and took my money to pay guys from another job, and then disappear with a bit of money and materials. i then had to get another contractor to fix this guys shoddy work and finish the property.

@Rick P - I have always practiced paying additional principal on any mortgage from day one of payment, and automatically reduce the mortgage term with very little "pain".
