My immediate goal is to buy a duplex for Househack.I came across this duplex which has the major foundation issues with underfloor HVAC system in the property.Foundation issues like- Multiple creaks on two bedroom drywall on each units- little Slop in a drawing room- Big creaks on the drivewayQuestionsShould I consider this property for my first investment or skip it?

There are relatively few of us out on the east side of Toronto who are active on BP so good to have you on board. 

George area and am actively looking for rental properties in the area.

But, I don't give them the black eye that they deserve many times, and recently another landlord took a major problem away from me.

These are all close to two major colleges and the houses are rented to college students. 

Vacancy rates might be one of the major downsides here, in addition to low population/job growth.
