Sounds like you are working an area where they are slower.Call them and ask somebody how long it takes for the online site to update with the latest recorded property sale; they need to update at some point to send the tax bills out.I'm fortunate to work an area where the recording and the online availability are at about the same time - within a day typically.

We were fortunate enough to get into it a few decades ago.

Maybe we are just fortunate enough to have never been in circles of such persons and actions, only thing we have ever experienced is ignorance such as asking if we were the only white people in SA, or if we lived in a mudd hut (I kid you not, we had been asked this).

Fortunately the unit was cleaned and undamaged, and I sold it shortly after.   

Fortunately enough work there that a bright employee will enventually come along.
