I could not imagine running a STR myself or even getting it started.

When I started purchasing more investment properties, it was easier to buy them under our names and SSNs.

I know he does not live in the unit but my hands are tied since his name appears.I responded with “I’ll have to see if thats possible, we have started advertising the unit for July 1, I know we can’t take partial payments.I know you weren’t able to open the unit for today but I just need to get into the unit tomorrow to take some pictures for showings.

I am sure there are deals to be found in Contra Costa and Alameda however the entry price is daunting in my head and I feel more comfortable getting started with something closer to the 200k and under.

Hello, I am looking to buy my first property (most likely an investment fourplex), but just left my job to start a grad program.
