I'm thankful he left when we told him to, the worst thing I think (besides not mowing the lawn for the 5 months he was there, and leaving piles of garbage) would be this: a huge industrial sized eye bolt used as the center support for the drapes, not sure if he was hanging iron curtains or what.

I don't want anyone to know I am the owner, so I will need a property manager so I can just be another "neighbor" while keeping an eye on my investment and calling the property manager when I see issues.I am definitely continuing my education and LOVE the podcasts!!

There are deals out there (non foreclosure) you just have to really keep an open eye and or have a realtor who knows exactly what you are looking for keep an eye out for you.Unfortunately as you mentioned the taxes in our home state or insane and I often think if I invested the money I haev invested in NJ RE out of state I could probably retire by now!
