Is your townhouse a unit in a condo or co-op?

Hi there BP Community,I purchased my condo about a year ago and have been slowly remodeling it. 

I have a rental property that I wish to sell and upgrade to a duplex. 

Similar to living in a duplex- living in one side but renting the other. 

I found one on the local craigslist that I could afford, and I'm thinking about buying it with the intention of renting it out, and using the profits from that to offset my own living situation (kinda like a duplex house hack but with 2 separate houses), or worse case scenario I could just live there and the lot rent plus utilities would be less than what I'm currently paying, and I could have roommates for extra income.

My girlfriend and I came across a duplex built in 1959 to rent and we were wondering what investors typically set aside for future maintenance and capex on properties that are almost 60 years old.

Hello my names Jonathan in the Iowa area, well I found a nice duplex and it’s been vacant for 3 years now.

I'm going to start off with fix and flip on SF and then once I accumulate enough cash off of one or two flips, I will move over to buy and holds in SF, Duplex, and Triplex(Want the first one to be a Duplex).

The very first deal we did in the Heights we had the owner carry back the construction note then when we refied him out, we had to use a much larger property and a condo deal for comps. 

I just sold a duplex for less than $150k in a the Fresno High Neighborhood, an A- neighborhood.
