Awesome how much did you brought for the houses in the southern area?

Account Closed, i am curious as to where your investment has brought you 3 years later. i came across this thread on a search for advice on purchasing a duplex or triplex with an FHA loan. i'm also looking to live in one of the units for a relatively short period of time (2-4 years) before renting it out. fill me in on where this 3 year old thread has brought you!! 

If someone brought me the right deal at the right price I'd consider it. 

Because the loan is secured by the asset (property) credit takes a back seat, and some private lenders will allow you to pay the loan origination points on the back end of the rehab/refi so little to no money needs to be brought to the deal (for the right deal).

Started using Facebook in the For sale/wanted pages  for the 2 I have now and frankly I think it has brought more attention.

Which made us start to rethink the investment and decide to research bf dumping our money. which brought us to this site. which we are so grateful to learn about as its just saved us a ton based on all the expert comments posted on the Than Merrill  inquiry.  

There have been several law suits brought by the mess that followed but the system is still widely used.

There is allot of information out there regarding this subject that you can read on it. ( ive read through most of it by now, ive also discussed this with an attorney that is pretty active with these actions)In simplest terms, any lien holder can bring a foreclosure action. the order of what liens/mortgages get wiped out depends on what position the foreclosing lien holder is. if foreclosure auction is brought by a senior mortgage (1st position) then after the foreclosure sale the senior mortgage along with any junior mortgages or liens will be wiped out.

In case of a lawsuit, a suit could only be brought against the LLC, not the individual.
