Our property manager recommended a system like a PTAC (Similar to a hotel system) but you would have to cut through the exterior block wall which I'm not a fan of.

You would also have to take into account the LV strip rates (certain times of the year some hotels like Treasure Island, etc are 18/night and your airbnb price may have to compete with those prices alongside competing with other airbnbs in the area).3) Joshua Tree would have great seasonal returns from airbnb.

If it turns out that an extensive repair is necessary requiring the tenant to go without water / bathroom service, you can arrange to put them up in a hotel for a day or two or offer them a credit, if they have family or friends nearby. again, very rare, though.

Don't forget you can claim 1/2 the cost of meals since it sounds like you went somewhere overnight as well as the actual travel costs (Flight and hotel room)
