I would still only install one if the costs of extra vacancy/decreased rent is greater than the cost of the dishwasher and maintenence.Also, make sure you or the plumber incorporate the drain from the dishwasher into the sink traps correctly.

Regardless if hole was still there it is such a sandy loom the ground just sinks back in instantly so unless they are there at very moment dirt is moved away it can’t be done anyways. 

And then we itemize things like checking under sinks for leaks, exterior corners for mold, bathroom floors, proper storage (no hazardous materials like gas cans near home), clear access to exits, etc...

When I do the square footage wall to wall, using the designer drawing measurements, I come up with 574 total.I'm trying to determine if my feelings are correct that this space is worth more as as self-contained rentable space that could either be used as a MIL suite, or man cave compared to simple square footage with all the components.Of course, the added bedroom, bathroom and laundry are key components...but I'm not so sure about the sink, fridge, and convection oven adding that much to it.Is there a known formula that I can apply to this scenario?

As a PM, I like the idea of a tenant doing the lawn work or fixing a sink, but the reality is the liability is not worth the risk.

I installed a grid drain in the sink because I con't like pop ups and removed the garbage disposal because they are a nightmare when tenants are involved.The house was built in 1989, so not as old as most in the area.
