Should I call the assessors office to make sure the lien is satisfied?

I’m just getting started and I’d be satisfied enough with 3,500 of positive cash flow a month by the time I’m eligible to retirement.

I have not been satisfied with any property management software so I am looking for alternatives.

@John Blackman It all boils down to what you are satisfied with in terms of time spent.

@Dan Crosby Hi DanI am interested to hear why you are no longer satisfied with your Canadian investments.Both Canada and the USA are very large geographic Countries with opportunities in both.  

Blindly thinking they would have their investors best interest in mind, which maybe they do, but, I’m learning now that I should’ve had a list of requirements for them to satisfy or at least for us to discuss.

Hold final payment until you are satisfied

If you have enough rental demand in your area and are satisfied with the income, I'd be tempted to leave it alone  until the time it's very outdated and/or  just so worn out that it needs renovating, at which time you can  make the changes you want.
