Further, the lender you're working with may not allow for you to finance your downpayment (debt do borrower and incur more debt is usually a red flag for lenders).

That's a major red flag, because some of the ones that were, just had the outlets swapped for 3 prong ones, and the ground wasn't even hooked up.
