So, What I think your solution is , get lincense to do mortgages lending in the state of California. make it a seperate company.If you dont have to be licensed because you are a Real estate broker then thats great but you have to open the company. once you have astablished the company.

And starting to look at yourself in a new light.Next thing you know here's what will happen....You'll be driving along in your truck "your a truck driver remember" ;-) and you'll see a book store, and you'll think to yourself "hmmmm, I'm gonna pull in there and see what real estate investing titles they have and maybe pick up one or two".

Now as a realtor if you are selling your own house then you will save on the listing fee, you will have access to the MLS to pull comps, and you will have some contacts starting out (at least the other agents in your office).I personally don't have my license, and have come across very few times that I wish I had it.
