Does anyone have insight/experiences with Redfin (either working for them or using them to close a deal) and/or the Leasing Consultant position/industry?

Anyone who has positive experience using listsource (or other sources) for multifamily in Texas?

My question is I want to redo that same cycle, look for a foreclosed home that needs repair to eventually live in it a couple of years to make it my primary residence.

Said differently, if you buy a $3000 lien can you pay off the other lien holders so that you're in first position or is that essentially paying off someone's mortgage to get back your $3000?

If you search on these forums you'll find the term "adverse possession." 99%+ of the people who post on this topic have expressed opinions but do not gave any personal experience.

I am presuming you are not taking a secured lien on real property (you should)...I would not do this deal unless you are prepared to reduce your 100k liquid to 5k and monthly payments of 833.33 a month for who knows how long.If I'm a company 60 days away from a 12 million dollar infusion, I don't put myself in the position of needing a 100,000 band-aid.  

If 2 years or more, it should be a positive cash flow, which improves DTI.

Also the banks have guidelines of 9 investment properties plus your primary residence.

I have not been in the position of needing to do cash for keys but I certainly think if you both agree to mutually terminate the lease in exchange for cash, there shouldn't be any issues.
