You absolutely cannot close and accept two tenants in the middle of an eviction.

I am very very new to this, looking for guidance on what pace to keep and are you able to finance more than a few homes?

I have also purchased a single family house the start of June and am going to start reno's in the middle of August.

The property rents for $2,000/month, so my slower pace cost me $6,000 in missed rent.

It is always harder to get a Contractor's attention in the middle of the summer. 4) even in the off season, you often have to wait months for the good ones. 5) try Thumbtack and Angie's List and... simila sites.

You could buy a cheaper place in the middle of nowhere and get nowhere.

I don't know what their availability is today because we have a lot going on since it's a Friday, but you might be able to meet them somewhere in the middle, depending on the time.We're in Cincinnati, Dayton, and everywhere in between.
