If you have a good plumber, electrician and appliance guy in the area you can handle most reparirs through them.If you must hire a property manager, I would get lots of referrals and check them out very thoroughly.  

Biggest thing is to make sure the agent and title company are competent in Seller Financing, I personally close my Seller Financing deals with a title company who has a real estate attorney on staff.   

They handle all statements as well as tax forms. 

If it is a good deal then the right person will be willing to look at some private money options or even look to structure a partnership where they bring in the capital and lend-ability and you manage the deal for them.

This is a different person cleaned after cleaning people cleaned for a short-term rental.

In my STR market, i hardly get any bookings from VRBO but don't want to miss out on possiblities.Another problem is VRBO charges (5+3)8% for advertisement booking and guesty handles payments in this case. whereas Airbnb charges a flat 3%.

I have personally seen this come to 30-50% of the value of the home.
