This has worked extremely well for us when it comes to increasing that bottom line.

You must be extremely detailed oriented and organized and have the right team and sytems.

That combined with tactical empathy are extremely powerful skills to have.

What conditions are present that could interrupt, say, a 20-year run, or make it extremely expensive?

Hedging would be a bad idea in my opinion given that the local currency is at an extremely low level against the USD (especially as a result of the Covid crisis), which by the way makes properties in these countries a bargain for USD investors.

We definitely don’t intend to lay with our feet up for the next 60 years, but we are no longer dependent on income outside of our investments which is really nice and extremely freeing.
