Depending on the tenant 25/mo shouldn't rock the boat too much if you desire is to keep them in the unit. 

Unless the lots are highly desirable, I would think it may be difficult to find buyers and create paper on them.

I am actually comfortable in the house I live in now with no desire to move.

I desire to get started in real estate for a number of reasons:1.

Desirable markets is where you want to own, but it also makes finding the right property, with the right type of financing, more difficult. 

It's the pits for cash flow, but it's great for flips, with areas of moderate to high desirability 30-days DOM and less.  

Our plan is to fix it up, and then eventually move into a much more desirable location to then sell it.
