I noticed the signs by my house only stayed up about 3-4 days but this was during the week, unless they took them down themselves.

But ya I aimed for 3 bed 1-2 baths, cuz I can always live in one of them, or the basement if it is good enough to clean and actually stay. and rent out the rooms. check out prices for one room in your area, or near by apartment complexes and base your numbers / deposits and rules off of them

One key detail I neglected to mention is that my wife and I are also hoping to stay as close as possible to the University of Utah since we are both students there and our work is there as well.

I’d like to rent them out on Airbnb throughout the year and also have as a place for my husband and I to stay when we visit.

Do not look for the 'get rich quick formular',but look for get rich and stay rich.People of the right mindset are hard to find.

As someone who does flips for a living I don't know that I would have much of a business in Chicago if I stayed away from older properties. 

Hi Tim,I would just recommend that your realtor stays in consistent communication with the seller’s attorney for progress/status.

Some brokerages have retainers for an attorney on call.Brokers talk in the business and some agents causing big waves and headaches they give a heads up through back door channels to stay away from them and not add to their firm.No legal advice given.
