Newbie to the Real Estate Game

Samuel Thim
Posted

Hello to all,

My name is Samuel Thim, and Im looking to invest in real estate. Im still very much in the education stage, with minuscule savings. Im looking to sponge as much knowledge as possible, with one of my strongest assets is my work ethic. Im new to blogs and forums, as ive never been tech handy, but I figured I should start. Would appreciate any advice or tips. God Bless.

@Samuel Thim Welcome to BP! Read as much as you can here and in books. Make a plan on what you want to do. Do you need to build up cash? Or are you ready to buy and hold? What you do will depend on your plan. You may also want to visit your local real estate investment club to start networking with others in your area. The hardest part about real estate investing is finding a niche that works with your personality. It may take a few tries in different areas but once you find it you'll be an expert on the subject. Personally, I went from single-family homes to mobile home investing. Though, it took me a while. If you need more help and want to learn more, I wrote a book specifically on how to find your niche and be successful as a real estate investor. Good luck!!
