Other than that, buying with cash is always preferred and you may well be able to get yourself a better deal buying with cash vs financing.

At the same time, most guest booking longer stays, would prefer to have their pets travel with them so that’s also something to think about.

I would prefer to work with someone that owns rental properties, but it is not a requirement.

Prefer south east area of the country and near the ocean.

I am totally willing to look outside Portland proper, and might actually prefer something outside the city because it seems the regulations are a little more lenient outside of Multnomah county.

At the end of the day, though, the best investment strategy is dependent on your own preferences/goals/skills and will be a personal decision.

I prefer only cash deals (personal savings for investments) only.
