Heck I've done it for months twice (traveled the states and world).

And I take pride when I travel to their towns and drive by all their rentals.. its a win win.

I am currently traveling long term out of the country and would to get a feel of how much work I can do abroad vs needing to be live and in-person.Thanks in advance to all the experienced RE investors out there who will take the time to read and reply, it is very much appreciated.

My wife and I are also getting back into the swing of things after traveling for the past 5 years.  

Ive done my research and by the looks of it these programs seem legit... just to name a couple:http://www.vacantstovalue.org  http://www.onehousebaltimore.orgI should mention he also says he travels to the areas constantly, and is staying there during the rehab getting everything in bulk and rehabbing a couple of homes at the same time. 

My medical resident recently up and left saying his student loan payments just ballooned and he could no longer afford the rent. 

We actually found a RE attorney who helped us our lease agreement and it was interesting to learn about the parts that are more specific to Portland (mold, mildew, etc....oh and now medical marijuana!)  

I wouldn't know where to get a good property manager.Do you often travel to the area you are going to invest in for several weeks at a time?

I plan on travel to the area in early August to do some boots on the ground research and would like to be be able to meet some other investors while I am there.
