@Tim Farrell We're looking at investing our first rental property in Reno/Sparks area due to the tech companies (Tesla, Apple and so on) growing their operations in that area.

Also, are the new jobs created in the city labor intensive or capital/tech intensive.

@Brian Eastman I do plenty of IT work for her and other various things like artwork for her materials and scanning and prepping PDFs, since she is not very tech savvy.

Are you willing to bet on a riskier investment that potentially has higher returns (like a new tech stock) or do you want something that provides consistent income with lower risk but less upside potential (like a Blue Chip Dividend Aristocrat)?

Most because imports to HI Tech or Stanford U. 

Its not like Scranton is a big city known for its high tech public transportation or other typical big city items that tend to drive up taxes.
