I agree there may be times to lower the rent, but in my cities, county and generally state I have found that to be rare   Other parts of the country have different economic, real estate and supply & demand situations.Ultimately it is the market, laws & condition that determine what rent is appropriate and what the community will accept. 

From a house hacking perspective there have been good options around 400k because you can get more per room than renting out the whole house, especially for mid term rentals.i don’t think any real deals exist anymore- just cheaper than nearby Frederick County. 

Aircover is not real insurance, it only covers damage that a guest does, and only then when Airbnb decides you deserve a payout.

Hi all, now that Covid is over is the value of real estate Upstate NY (north of westchester county ) going down since people are moving back to nyc?

Also, because the boxes are cheap, the door hinge screws tend to continually loosen up - the wood must be real loose grain. 

The most important thing is building the right real estate team and finding a great realtor to work with - someone who can plug you in with their GCs, PMs, lenders, etc.
