I’m new to investing and want to find the best source of information to understand monthly rent comparisons in my market.

It is not uncommon for a seller of a property to offer you an outrageously overpriced property to lure you to another property that is less outrageously overpriced and sell you based on the comparison. 

For example, when we get 3 quotes for repairs, most of the time we know 2 vendors are not getting the job and are quoting for comparison sake.

The best comparison will be to run the numbers on other similar homes in your area to see whether these numbers are high or low based on property prices, rental, costs in your area and your financial scenario.

So I am in need of some advice on this day.Info: Multi Family Property; 2x: 2 Bed 1 Bath. 1x studio. 1x 2 bed 2 Bath.CMV: ~80,000-100,000 ARV: 120,000-175,000(Not exactly sure how to do these but i did comparisons/ looked at an old appraisal).

As you asking if the rental market is strong in comparison to acquisition cost?

Really can’t speak to the overall comparison yet with such short lived experience so far, but it has been better than that property was as a regular rental.

As I am in the process of vetting a number of syndication sponsors and also fund managers and I am trying to get a good read for the sake of comparison between Individual real estate syndication deals vs RE Private equity fund (such as Broadstone, MLG, Grub, Origin etc). 

Even my background in construction management pales in comparison of doing your own personal project.

I would like to use a simple cash flow vs investment to make an apples to apples comparison.
