First and foremost this is your livelihood and at this time I'm self managing 64 doors.How I got into real estate is a totally different story but one probably not unlike many others.I made a very bad business agreement with a couple of very smart talking business types and we started a remodeling company (siding ,windows ,kitchens and baths).

By that, I mean ask them what they need the most help with or what they'd be willing to let you do for free3) learn from them what successful investors are doingThe answer to your question could be partnering or waiting --- or it could be something MUCH better that comes from a relationship you have with a solid investor.Congrats for having your head on straight at 18, you'll future self will be thanking your current self ;)

I'm new to this forum and have searched for posts dealing with this subject.I'm looking for (1) general advice, (2) referral to resources but more importantly (3) 20-30 min conversation/connection to developers (I hope this does not violate the mentor request rules of the forum, I believe it doesn't, but if it does please ignore this 3rd request) who have gone through an adaptive reuse conversion of a multi-story building, preferably a historic building, into self-storage or any other use for that matter.I'm new to real estate development and self-storage, but I've followed the industry for years and have a basic understanding of the drivers/economics.

If the location is nice, the COC is good, and the property won't need MAJOR CapEx in the future the question answers it's self.
