I have looked and not found anything on this.I am getting a 75k loan from a family member and told them they would have a second on one of my multifamilies.

We've been honing in on a pretty good development/investment formula that is working for us where we buy an existing single or multi-family house that can be improved or easily split into smaller units, and then we also add small new construction units to the property (townhomes or duplexes or cottages) and, generally, we rent them all out (though we have sold a couple of single family rehabs and we may sell the units in our next big project...

Against my better judgement I modified the criteria based on feedback I received and this is not going as expected.

I have a lot better PM now that doesn't do that, but I'm still on the hunt for a good trustworthy handyman and GC in Toledo.

Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks! 

Would it be smart to hold off on investing until prices drop?

I know often times people on this forum say they are unnecessary and don't always protect against liability and just get a good umbrella policy.  

It’s true that the IRA will incur UDFI/UBIT on the income derived from the same % leveraged.
