My buyer is in need of mitigating his medical collections payment, and I remembered hearing on a BP Podcast that “just paying it off” once it hits collections is the worst thing you can do.

I wanted to do a cash out refi... and they told me I had to Quit Claim Deed out of my property name and leave it like that for 6 months before doing the refi.....I went to my local bank two blocks away and got the refi done with no problem

@Alex Ramos unless it was medically related, bad credit speaks to bad decisions made.

Maybe request a quit-claim ... 

If I have all of my properties with one insurance company, can a claim on one property affect my other properties?

I need to quit claim one of my Indianapolis properties from my personal name to my entity.

Small claims action is already filed. 

Now they're saying it may be at the end of the month, though they claim they got approved to move into an apartment, etc etc..  

Hey Everyone,I bought my first triplex last August with the plan to claim residency for the first year.

(There is more 'backstory'... we intend to begin offering additional services like daily meals, housekeeping, etc, in the future, but for now, it's non-nursing, non-medical, simply standalone rentals.)
