Ironically, yesterday, my wife and I booked a trip very near Naples so we could relax, plus check out the area for future investing, or maybe a potential move down the road. 

Once you know your budget and target area, find a local realtor and line up showings for one weekend. then make a trip down there and put an offer in.As for moving, same as you normally would do-pack up your stuff and move it to Atlanta. 

So after some research, it seems Columbus Ohio shows hopes and it appears it's  quite a favourite with investors here as well.

I definitely want to take a trip there to see the area a bit before I make any huge decisions.

No sherpa ever brought someone near the top of Everest, pointed and said "ok, there is the top, good luck, I did my 1 part, let me know how it goes in a year and if want a half-way-trip again sometime". 

@Chase Hoover not a bad idea - but now Airbnb shows the actual trip total right under the advertised nightly rate when guests search for specific dates, so differences in fees should already be more obvious to potential guests. 

I would definitely suggest that you take a trip to the region in which you'd like to invest.

So they spend money on their trip here and spent money on tickets although I think it just became something else to do.but I have to think that the Raiders will during each game attract the visiting teams fan base in a way that is far greater than any other city save New York Or maybe SF..  

We have just pumped the breaks on trip do to travel costs.
