One of the reasons I was trying to be more detailed other than cash for your house is I'm trying to stay away from sounding like a scam.

@Joel - You are correct that there are many scammers out there and some verification service could be scam included which is what makes Josh's idea nad offering so grand in that it is BP who runs the check/verification.

Also looking to maybe come up with some suggestions for those I encounter who wont actively invest in RE themselves.I personally want to have active investments in RE like rehabs, rentals, etc.

If someone doesn't mention it until after you mention the pet deposit/pet rent you can almost guarantee it's a scam. 

I do recall a while back there was a real estate scam going on where the perpetrators bought property using someone else's identity.

I won't take vemno or "free" PayPal because they are not allowed for business transactions last time I checked and I have read the payer can get a refund anytime they call and request it (which is why there are a lot of PayPal and venmo scams on craigslist).

I've not encountered this situation and always open to learning something new!

I didn't up buying the house  - it came down to the numbers was a bummer really wanted the project but that was an unknown factor on my estimates - whenever I encounter something like that I like to be on the look out so I can come up with data for next time!
