Biggest problem is that managing a Turo rental is more hands on than managing an STR, and is more difficult to do remotely.But if you can find a way to do that work, you've basically got two businesses where every customer for one is a free, super valuable, super targeted lead for the other, with the opportunity to offer a bundle discount to close the deal.

We received a letter from HACC within the past 2 months stating that there would be no new vouchers and no new properties - I checked the website and it says "open with exceptions."

So if anything at all, our upper level tenant would only have gas water heating, and gas washer/dryer.Lower level has electric stove, gas heat, and we are also checking the water heater and washer/dryer for gas vs electric.

I don't see why there should be too many problems with doing something like that except for maybe consider checking with your building department and local zoning if a commercial property is allowed in that particular area that you're residential property currently sits?
